Un evento che fa rivivere l’essenza del Carnevale di Putignano attraverso l’arte della cartapesta, il suo spirito, la sua atmosfera e la sua maschera, Farinella, in un contesto temporale inusuale rispetto al solito.
Attraverso le grandi sculture di cartapesta dislocate nel percorso cittadino, gli spettacoli teatrali, l’animazione con gli artisti di strada, la musica, le mostre e i laboratori creativi, cArte e Maschere” sviluppa il racconto dell’identità di un territorio e della sua comunità che guarda al futuro con fiducia, coinvolgendo ed ammaliando gli ospiti ed invitandoli alla prossima 629a edizione del Carnevale di Putignano, il più lungo e fra i più antichi d’Europa, che si terrà il prossimo inverno.
Putignano torna a raccontarsi attraverso un’altra esperienza immersiva nell’arte della cartapesta: passeggiando tra le grandi installazioni si può conoscerne il significato, la genesi dell’ispirazione dei Maestri Cartapestai che l’hanno originata e gli aneddoti legati alla storia del Carnevale.
An event that brings to life the essence of the Carnival of Putignano and its spirit, its atmosphere and its Farinella mask, through the art of papier-mâché and in an unusual atemporal environment.
Through the big papier-mâché sculptures located throughout the town, the performances, the entertainment with street performers, music, exhibitions and creative workshops, “cArte e Maschere” develops the story of the identity of a land and its community that looks to the future with confidence, involving and enchanting guests and inviting them to the next 629th edition of the Carnival. It is the longest and one of the oldest in Europe and, as usual, is going to be held next winter.
Putignano returns to tell its identity through another immersive experience in the art of papier- mâché. Walking amongst the grand installations you will learn its meaning: the genesis of the inspiration that led papier-mâché craftsmen to originate it, and the anecdotes linked to the Carnival history.
Un événement qui fait revivre l’essence du Carnaval de Putignano à travers l’art du papier mâché, son esprit, son atmosphère et son masque, Farinella, dans un contexte temporel inhabituel par rapport à l’habituel.
A travers les grandes sculptures de papier mâché situées sur le parcours de la ville, les spectacles théâtraux, l’animation avec les artistes de rue, la musique, les expositions et les ateliers créatifs, “cArte e Maschere” développe le récit de l’identité d’un territoire et de sa communauté qui regarde vers l’avenir avec confiance, en impliquant et en envoûtant les invités et en les invitant à la prochaine 629 ème édition du Carnaval de Putignano, le plus long et le plus ancien d’Europe, qui aura lieu l’hiver prochain.
Putignano revient se raconter à travers une autre expérience immersive dans l’art du papier mâché: en se promenant parmi les grandes installations, on peut en connaître la signification, la genèse de l’inspiration des Maîtres en papier mâché qui l’ont créée et les anecdotes liées à l’histoire du Carnaval.”
